David L. Selby II is a 1990 graduate of Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. Since graduating law school David has seen both sides. David represented insurance companies for a number of years and he knows how they operate and why they will or will not settle claims. David past experience in the representation of insurance companies gives him a unique perspective which enables him to better represent individuals, working families and small businesses when going up against the insurance companies. David practices exclusively in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, and consumer fraud.
David is the author of
"The Alabama Consumer's Guide to Automobile Accident Claims." A book written especially for consumers to provide them practical information for dealing with automobile accident claims.
David has a commitment and passion for his clients, whether he is representing working families or small businesses. David will tell you that the most important thing to him is his desire to live each moment of each day to glorify God in each and everything he does. David's church is a vital part of his life. David and his family are members of Hunter Street Baptist Church in Birmingham. David has been married since 1987 and he and his wife, Rhonda, have two boys, Griffin and Benjamin.
David is licensed to practice in all Alabama state and federal courts. Although located in Birmingham, he has handled cases in just about every county and city in the state of Alabama. David's practice purposefully limited to a select few areas. David's practice is not just limited to the state of Alabama. In fact, David has a national practice devoted to consumer fraud issues, including, serving as co-lead counsel in a number of consumer class actions. David is a frequently requested speaker on issues involving Consumer Arbitration.
