Arbitration Fairness Act

Consumer arbitration can be a dangerous way for companies to avoid being held accountable to consumers.  Forced arbitration clauses are buried into the fine print of automobile contracts and loans, manufactured home contracts, nursing home facilities, and more.   Thank goodness there is legislation moving through Congress to put an end to forced consumer arbitration.  Basically, the Arbitration Fairness Act would prohibit companies such as mobile home manufacturers, car dealers, and others, from using forced arbitration agreements.
